How are pricing rules applied?
You can apply pricing rules to individual products using the Automate Pricing tool, or you can apply them in bulk by uploading the Automate Pricing file.
If you sell globally with Amazon, the Automate Pricing file also lets you associate your rules with products you’ve listed in multiple Amazon stores. Just use Build International Listings to cross-list your products, then any price changes through Automate Pricing will be automatically synchronized.

Who’s eligible for Automate Pricing?
To use Automate Pricing, you need a Professional selling account and an active offer on the products you want to apply pricing rules to.
How long does it take for automated pricing rules to go into effect?
For rules you have already created, price updates are usually processed in less than 15 minutes, but may take longer under certain circumstances. For new rules, or if you change a rule parameter, it can take up to one hour for all products assigned to the rule to re-price according to the new parameters.
How much does it cost to automate my pricing?
The Automate Pricing tool is included for free in the Professional selling plan. You can also find more options for third-party tools to automate pricing in the Selling Partner Appstore.
How can I see what my current price is on a product that I’ve applied a pricing rule to?
You can see your current price from any screen where the product and your price are displayed. This includes the Manage Inventory, Manage Pricing, Automate Pricing, and Business Reports sections of Seller Central.
Does automating my price guarantee I’ll become the Featured Offer?
No. Lowering your price can help you become the Featured Offer, but you also need to meet performance-based requirements in areas like inventory availability, fulfillment, and customer service.

Can I control which account users can access Automate Pricing?
Yes, you can control who in your business can access Automate Pricing. From your Seller Central account, go to your settings, then select User Permissions. Find the user and select Edit. Under "Pricing," you can customize the user's access to Automate Pricing.
Do price changes through Automate Pricing count toward the daily price update allotment?
No, price changes made by Automate Pricing don’t count toward the daily price update allotment.
